Four yellows, two oranges, and a red were used to create the flame tones for this Ahi Taniwha print.
Leila Khaled, born in Haifa, Palestine, became a refugee as a small child due to the ethnic cleansing carried out by armed zionist organisations. Participating in the Palestinian resistance from a young age and most famously carrying out hi-jackings (with strict instructions to harm no passengers and be polite to the crew), to highlight the cause of Palestinian liberation and the right to return to their homeland. ‘Resistance is not terrorism’
This print is from an original Sonny Au screen from the early nineties. It was sitting up in the roof of Freddy J’s shed for thirty years collecting dust. Freddy brought the screen to us. We cleaned it up and were able to print a limited run of these Jimi tees. Each tee has its own unique colour blend.
Georges Prosper Romi, known to the World by his pen name Hergé, has become perhaps the most widely revered of all graphic novel artists.
With his 24 seminal works ‘The Adventures of Tin Tin’, Hergé established a level of artistic and stylistic quality coupled with superb story telling that has yet to be approached by any other artist.
This t-shirt has been hand made by us, as a small homage to one of our major influences…we hope you enjoy wearing it, maybe while reading or rereading your favourite Tin Tin and Snowy Adventure.
This Big Daddy Ed Roth print is taken from an ad in the June 1957 Car Craft, Hot Rod magazine from our collection. Roth was just starting out as a pinstriper, at this time. Striping his customers cars in his home garage after work - charging $4.00 for a hood and deck pinstripe job!
